Kama-Ka, the Rock Raider (MOC)

Finally we have the Speedwagon analog for my photo comic. It took a while getting this shot set up, making a dirt wall behind the figure and positioning the quartz cluster just right. I airbrushed out past the rim on the upper left like it's a mountain.

Backstory:

In the Southern Continent, Kama-Ka has always tried to push the limits of where it seemed he and his company of miners could go. When he couldn't breach far past the border of the Barraki and tunneling operations were intercepted, he welcomed the rise of a Rahi King highly protective of the land -- as long as he could convince it digging was a natural instinct for Onu-Matoran.

He struck it big on a heatstone strata and soon enough once he established water trade using Ga-Matoran as middle (wo)men to black market buyers, Kama-Ka was bathing in riches. He even got himself a suave black and silver suit of mining armor made.

However, one day a Rahkshi of Light passed by, attracted by the main heat/lightstone mine. Instead of attack him or any other Onu-Matoran, the Rahkshi simply placed its hand upon Kama-Ka's mask and infused it with light. It left after.

Kama-Ka, being the logical Matoran he is, assumed that only more bizarre events could unfold from here. But a mask that glowed was certainly useful for now.
