:icon0nuku:'s 3d printed mask came in, and it's sweer as fug

It really has a look like something smithed and carved out of a Kanoka Disk, and I have to to give Onuku a lot of credit for making it go from a 2d drawing to such an accurate 3d model.


Dumb facts:
]it has the same number of vents as a Great Kanohi Pakari
]I based the aesthetic on a hockey mask (which is what the Pakari is sort of like), the Avohkii, and the Pakari Nuva
]it took 3 revisions to get to this design, the previous ones were very geometric and insectoid
]Onuku is a real life maskmaker

I absolutely love the look of this mask. I love that you and Onuku took a mask power/style that is normally brutish and streamlined it for a female character. The curves on that thing are so flawless, the mask looks like it could have been designed by Lego themselves. It's a bit of a shame about the grainy texture as a side effect of the 3-D printing, though; it would be really cool if someone figured out a way to eliminate that.
Perfect mask for a female character, in my opinion!
